It all began...

... one early Saturday morning in the kitchen when our two daughters, Josephine and Cori, dashed past us and out the door by 8 a.m. We knew something was up—after all, who wakes up that early on a weekend? Little did I know, that was the moment our journey

with leappNINE was set in motion.

Patricia casually mentioned they were headed to Brooklyn, but the details were scarce. I shrugged it off and moved on to breakfast. Ten hours later, the girls burst back through the door, faces alight with joy, carrying a precious bundle- Molly, a 12-year-old bombay cat who was scheduled to be euthanized the very next day.

They had discovered Molly online, drawn to her story of illness and despair. She was battling a kidney infection and still had been given only a few months to live. But where others saw a lost cause, my daughters saw hope. Thanks to their love and care, Molly thrived for another five years, teaching us all the power of second chances.

That day marked the beginning of our family’s commitment to rescue, and the joy of saving lives became our mission for our whole family.

That’s why we created leappNINE.
